Ace is the place! They almost always have whatever item you're needing. Friendly and always helpful staff.
They have what I need, but closing at 6 on weekdays and 5 on Saturday and only open 1 to 5 on Sunday is crap. Seriously 4 hours on Sunday. If Lowes were closer I would go there just because they're open later.
Convenient but typically higher prices on everything. They have a general selection of merchandise however I usually have to go somewhere else due to not having the exact items I need because they either don't carry the item or don't have it in stock. I have also learned to examine each item thoroughly due to components missing from within. This is either due to the items being returned and restocked without confirmation that everything was returned and packaged properly by a previous buyer. Presently I am driving back to return an item because parts were missing. Hopefully they will not restart the item as new.
Worse customer service ever from a store. I work for a company and was dressed in a company shirt. We spend a lot of money at this store. I went on 10/4/17 to pick up a few things and was going to charge it to a card over the phone like we have done many times before. The old lady behind the cash register was very rude. While I was on the phone with the office she being to curse because I was telling my office their excuse was because of their chip system. Which we all know is false, she didn't want to take the time to enter the info in manually. I do not recommend this storr I will drive to B&S in gilmer where they are helpful and polite. Where they have a chip system, yet still take credit cards over phone.
For the people that are complaining about them opening at 1 on Sunday, you know some folks value going to church? If you go to church on Sunday 1pm is about the earliest you can start doing anything. Just go to Longview if its that important.
